U.S. Coast Guard Rescues Jet Skier Being Pushed Toward Rocky Shore

A training mission resulted in some fast-paced heroics as a U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer saved a man who had fallen off his jet ski.

The fortuitous route of a training mission likely saved a jet skier's life.
The U.S. Coast Guard hoisted a man to safety after plucking him out of the waters of New Jersey on Sunday, October 4th.
The unidentified victim somehow fell off of his jet ski.
A helicopter from the Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City first noticed the personal craft alone in the water.
The training crew began to search for the rider and while circling back, they watched the jet ski crash into the rocky shoreline.
They soon noticed the man himself was being perilously pushed towards the rocks.
