MQM to protest in front of UN as PM Nawaz addresses General Assembly

MQM has announced to stage a huge protest demonstration in front of United Nations coinciding with the address of Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's address to the General Assembly of the world organization.
The purpose of the protest is to highlight the cruelties, injustices and atrocities against the Mohajirs, said a MQM press statement issues here yesterday. According to MQM Central Organising Committee for United States, the protest will be staged at 9 a.m to record the protest over ban on speeches by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, un-announced ban on social welfare activities and alleged conspiracy to hand over Karachi to religious extremists, the statement said. The Pakistanis living in USA were appealed to join in the protest.
