FARC and Colombian Gov’t Make Historic Announcement

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos and FARC leader Timoleon Jimenez, known as Timochenco, make a historic announcement in Havana on Wednesday, accompanied by Cuban President Raul Castro and representatives of Norway, Cuba, Chile and Venezuela, the four guarantors of the peace process. The announcement concerned an agreement reached on justice for the victims of the armed conflict and the creation of a special judicial body to deal with crimes committed by both sides.
