Footage shot by a Crown Heights resident on the morning after a kapparot ritual chicken slaughter at President Street and Kingston Avenue shows chickens being thrown into a garbage truck. According to the Hasidic Jewish tradition governing the ritual, the chickens are supposed to be given to feed the poor.
