US Eases Restrictions on Doing Business with Cuba

The U.S. Treasury Department is easing restrictions for doing business in Cuba, allowing companies to open offices on the island and engage in banking transactions. Regular airline flights and mail service will be resumed before the end of the year and some red tape restrictions on travel are being loosened. Nevertheless, the blockade as such remains in effect.
