Another Huge Sinkhole is Swallowing Siberia

Ruptly's drone soared over a huge end-of-the-world sinkhole in the Russian city of Solikamsk. Since it was first spotted in November 2014, the hole has been growing increasingly bigger, expanding from 100 feet in diameter to over 400, quadrupling in size and swallowing up nearby houses and roads. The sinkhole, which is visible from space, was reportedly formed after an accident at a nearby potash mine called Solikamsk-2 in November 2014. During the accident, 1,000 workers had to be evacuated due to an inflow of saline water. The mine is owned by the world's number one potash producer, Uralkali.
