Earthquake Rattles Santiago Mall

At least one person was killed and thousands were evacuated after a magnitude 8.3 earthquake rocked Chile late on Wednesday evening. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning for coastal areas of Chile, Peru and Ecuador with reports of 15ft waves hitting the shores of Chile’s Coquimbo province. The earthquake was centred off the coast around 34 miles west of Illapel, around 175 miles northwest of Santiago.This video shows the impact of the earthquake in a Santiago bowling alley.
