KARTAL GÖKTAN: Today, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that there wouldn't be any special military action against the PYD and continued, ‘But this doesn't mean that we condone the actions of the PYD. The PYD found support because it is fighting against ISIS but the PYD is not working for peace in Syria. At the moment, our primary target is not the PYD, but we [do] criticize the PYD explicitly. Our main focus at the moment is on the fight against Daesh. But we do serve our warnings to the PYD. We have heard that the PYD is also uncomfortable with the recent terror attacks of the PKK in Turkey.’
