PAS Vice-President, Salahuddin Ayub gives the thumbs up for the proposed Whistle Blower Act.
Set to be introduced next year, the new law is aimed at encouraging informers to disclose graft, and was revealed by Finance Minister Najib Abdul Razak during the Budget 2010 speech.
Other graft-busting efforts include the establishment of 14 'Special Corruption sessions Courts' and four 'Special Corruption Appeal High Courts'.
However, no time frame is specified for the establishment of these courts.
