Deputy Prime Minister and deputy BN chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin said the government would fulfill all the commitments it made during the by-election campaign.

He stopped short, however, of commenting on whether the government will provide the funds for flood mitigation.

"Whatever we announced will be fulfilled. We will continue with our commitments.

"The (Sibu) by-election is not an ending note," he told told a brief press conference in Putrajaya.
