Thousands of protestors marched from Kampung Baru in the heart of the capital to the US embassy, condemning Israel for its deadly attack on a Gaza-bound humanitarian aid flotilla.

Pakatan Rakyat top brass, protestors are demanding that the United States exert pressure on its ally Israel to allow humanitarian aid into war-torn Gaza.

Despite warnings to rally organisers yesterday, the police offered to control traffic to allow the march to proceed.
