Amusing footage has emerged of the moment One Direction star Harry Styles was hit in the crotch by a flying object in Ottawa, Canada on Tuesday.

The filmer wrote online: "Harry Styles and a fan were having fun back and forth with the fan shooting him with silly string, and Harry pouring water over them.

"Someone from the audience threw an object at Harry which caused him to require a second or two to regain his composure and continue on with the show."
