But if there’s one image of Rowan Atkinson played Mr. Bean that is etched in the minds of millions of his fans, it has to be him riding atop his famous green and black British Leyland Mini 1000. The car matched Bean’s perfectly and it became like an extension of Bean himself.
The great comedy character was again seen riding atop his much beloved Mini 1000 in front of the Buckingham Palace in London to mark the 25th Anniversary of this legendary television series.
The arrival of Bean atop his car recreated a famous scene from the series where the character drives the car home after buying a sofa, driving it with the help of ropes and bricks sitting at the top of the car.
This time, the only difference was that the car had the MrBean25 written all over it. Mr. Bean as a show became extremely popular worldwide in the early nineties and inspired an animation series as well as two movies.
