Officials recently posted a Facebook message about the increasing observations of coral bleaching under the waters around Biscayne National Park.

Environmental conditions are causing an underwater creature to undergo a noticeable change.
Officials with Biscayne National Park in southern Florida recently posted on Facebook that coral bleaching is becoming more commonly observed due to a rise in water temperatures. 
Bleaching happens when the algae that live within the coral’s polyps get expelled due to the stress that warmer water puts on the organism as a whole.
