Joey + Rory share powerful video for 'Softly and Tenderly'

Joey Feek of Joey + Rory is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage IV cervical cancer—she had her first surgery one year ago and a second just last month—but she and husband Joey Feek haven’t let the treatment derail their music. In fact it’s provided a new mission as they’ve begun recording a Christian album.
Rory shared a video on his blog, This Life I Live, of the behind the scenes of recording “Softly and Tenderly.” On Monday, he published a post titled “a song to sing” where he introduced the project writing, “My wife Joey still has a song to sing. In fact, she has lots of songs that she wants to sing in the future. It’s part of what gives her the strength to push on through all the nausea and pain that she’s been experiencing as she goes through cancer treatment.”
