Maduro Campaigns for Increase in Oil Price

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro proposed early Saturday a summit of heads of states of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to address new strategies to stabilize the oil market. The Venezuelan president, who is in Qatar where he met with leaders of the oil-rich Gulf state, said the exporting countries should seek a minimum price of US$70 per barrel. teleSUR
