Ahmedabad Controversy erupts over GPSC results - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: A fresh controversy is erupted over Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) results that announced after a year. Out of 3.87 lakh aspirants who had appeared in the examination, 2.57 lakh candidates gave preliminary examination and only 2,960 have passed and qualified for the finals. Normally, the result gets announced within a month or two but this time, it took one year. The students claimed that they are not given blue-print and therefore, could not know their marks and status of the result. As per UPSC pattern, the commission is supposed to select candidates 12 times the number of vacancies but only 2,960 have been selected which is only 6 times. Students have threatened to knock the doors of Supreme Court if required.
