Venezuelan authorities in the state of Tachira opened the Colombia border crossing at Ureña to allow 1,500 Colombian students to attend classes in Santender, Colombia. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos had previously charged that Venezuela was preventing students from crossing the border to attend school. teleSUR
