Welcome Back Movie Review | John Abraham, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor

Welcome Back the movie directed by Anees Bazmee is a comedy riot and is akin to its original Welcome. It has the same star cast almost however has introduced John Abraham in the movie this time. We therefore do not have Akshay Kumar in it.
The story weaves around two brothers Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai played by the verterans Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor and they are underworld dons turned businessmen of today. John plays the one who falls in love with the girl who is their sister. Uday’s father however is a spoilsport and says that his other daughter Ranjana has to be married to a decent guy first and only then can the two brothers marry. Thus the search for Ranjana’s husband begins and the story is all about the twists and turns that it takes in this process.
John has indeed given a commendable performance and as for Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor it is obvious they do not need any more stars. They are beyond it and have risen up to their roles justifiably. The movie is one which one can go and watch with family and does not have a streamlined plot. However for a one time watch it is indeed a good flick and we give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
