Investigative Journalist Details Perez Molina’s Past Crimes
  • 9 years ago
In a telephone interview, investigative journalist Allan Nairn tells Cody Weddle that the U.S. was urging Perez Molina not to resign in the recent corruption scandal for fear that his resignation would create greater instability. Nairn met Perez Molina in 1982, when he was implementing the Rios Montt program of slaughter against the Mayan population. Later, in the 1990s, Perez received CIA funds as head of G2, the military intelligence service that Nairn says served as a torture and assassination service against “guerrillas or potential guerrillas.” teleSUR
