The Global African - Labor Day and Canada’s Relationship with Africa

Labor Day was created in 1882 by the Central Labor Union and Knights of Labor. It was established to celebrate workers for their major contributions. One hundred and thirty years after the creation of Labor Day, what is the state of the worker today? When it comes to imperialism in Africa, we often times talk about the role of nations like France, England, Belgium, and the United States. What about the role of Canada?
