Argentina: 117th Missing Grandchild Recovered

The Argentine human rights organization Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo announced yesterday that they have located the 117th grandchild kidnapped during the country's military dictatorship in the 1970s and 1980s. The granddaughter of activists who were forcibly disappeared in 1977 and presumably killed recovered her true identity three days ago following DNA tests. Her name has not yet been released to the public. It is estimated that 500 children were stolen by the military from their activist parents who were then killed. teleSUR
