Venezuelan Opposition Leader Accused of Promoting Violence

Following months of investigations, the Venezuelan Prosecutor's Office reported that it has proven that opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez is guilty of provoking violence during February 2014 protests. In 700 twitter messages Lopez publicly called on his followers to attack government buildings during violent opposition protests in which 43 people died. Lopez could be sentenced as early as next week. teleSUR
