Bersih 2.0, weapons link 'questionable'

Supporters of the impending Bersih 2.0 rally today filed two police reports against top police officers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor for allegedly linking the movement for free and fair elections with a seizure of weapons yesterday.

The police reports were filed against Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Amar Singh and Selangor police chief Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah, for insinuating that the raid on the weapons cache was linked to the peaceful demonstration planned for July 9.
