COMMENCAL / VALLNORD Downhill Racing Team is proud to present the third teaser of their new video project: ALL IN.
The full movie will be released next October featuring and following Myriam Nicole, Rémi Thirion, Thibaut and Gaëtan Ruffin and Gaëtan Vigé as well as the team crew, throughout the 2015 race season.
Crankworx, Les 2 Alpes was a success for the team. Myriam made her comeback to racing with a victory in the women’s race and Rémi took another podium and a 2nd place in the men’s category.
The weekend after was the French Championships and it was a tough affair. Myriam and Rémi crashed in the finals, Thibaut crashed hard in practice preventing him from racing and Gaëtan missed his race.
Gaëtan « Junior » saved the weekend for us with his return to racing after his hand injuries, taking a promising 3rd place in the juniors. Unfortunately, the next weekend while he was training at the French Cup in Les Carroz, he had a stupid crash and broke his femur.
The team then flew off to Montreal, QC and drove to Mont Sainte Anne for the following World Cup. More bad luck hit us as Rémi badly injured his ankle during his 3rd run. He had to fly back home in order to heal up as fast as possible.
Myriam had a great race securring 3rd place, only 2 seconds back from the fastest time! Mont Sainte Anne done, we drove 8 hours down to Windham, NY. The 3 remaining soldiers had a good race. Myriam got 5th even with a crash, Thibaut 21st and Gaëtan 53rd.
It’s been such an emotionally mixed season so far, with all these highs and lows, good results and injuries but this is our sport and we signed up for it!
