Turkish PM Fails to Form Coalition Government

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu announced that he has given up on his attempts to form a new coalition government after talks with opposition parties collapsed. Davuto?lu officially returned his mandate to form a government to President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, gunmen opened fire outside Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul, and shortly thereafter police arrested two suspects. The Palace houses the offices of the Turkish Prime Minister. Hazem Abdullah reports from Istanbul.
