Launch of Japanese HTV-5 Cargo Spacecraft on H-IIB Rocket

A Japanese H-IIB rocket successfully launched today from the Tanegashima Space Center in Japan at 11:50 UTC, August 19th 2015 carrying the HTV-5 unmanned cargo craft full of cargo for the Expedition 44 crew onboard the International Space Station.

The HTV-5 is the 5th HTV-5 to visit the Space Station since HTV-1 in 2009, the previous was HTV-4 in 2013. HTV-5 is carrying 5.7 tons of cargo to the station including important components destroyed during the SpaceX Dragon flight previously this year.
