'Political plot': Ex- PKR aide detained for role in Tapah murder

A former special aide to PKR Tapah parliamentary candidate K Vasantha Kumar has been arrested in connection with the murder of his ex-colleague in Perak. The morning before his arrest, S Marimuthu denied having anything to do with his former work mate's death, even lodging a police report against the accusations while Vasantha has decried Murugan's murder as politically motivated.
