Bridget Welsh: 40% increase in candidates, more women ADUNs elected

Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor (EMPOWER) organized the "Post General Election Analysis- Where Are The Women ?" forum at the KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall on Wednesday. Dr. Bridget Welsh, Associate Professor of Political Science from the Singapore Management University says that there is a sharp increase in women candidates and more women ADUNs are being elected, but the figures are still lower than the international average.
