Speaking at a forum to commemorate Tunku Abdul Rahman's 111th birthday last night in Kajang, Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim regaled the audience with a series of anecdotes about Tunk.
In calling Tunku a "real gentleman with integrity", Khalid says Tunku was instrumental in starting the Merdeka tournament football competition and the Islamic Development Bank. He also mooted the regional political and economic grouping Asean.
