Hisham: Chinese satellite data detracted search efforts

Acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein says satellite data from China, had detracted efforts to search for flight MH370, by focussing attention on the South China Sea only to turn up nothing

He said this while responding to a question from Chinese media on why an announcement that the missing plane was in the Indian Ocean was only made yesterday when satellite data had been available much earlier.
