USA: Racism Leads to Hate Crimes and Police Brutality Cases

The continued loss of African-American lives in the United States at the hands of the police and also in hate crimes is propelled by racism, say many. Protests during the past year have focused on the racism and violence of the police, yet citizens feel that racism runs much deeper. Crimes against African-Americans in the United States are 300 times higher than in other nations with the same population and economic status.
