Phesal to stay on as KL mayor for one more year

Kuala Lumpur Mayor Ahmad Phesal Talib will serve as the capital's mayor for one more year, pending approval from the Yang diPertuan Agong, says Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
Aseh Che Mat's term as Putrajaya Corporation President has also been extended for a year.
Tengku Adnan says the one year extension gives him leeway to fire them if they don't perform.
