Ahmedabad: The fate of the decades-old architectural marvels in Pol houses and heritage building is in limbo. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) authorities conducted a survey of these buildings to assess their safety and it came to light that out of 12,502 houses on the heritage list, only 2,696 are in good condition while remaining 9,806 houses are missing which clearly points that AMC is not conscious to preserve these heritage structures. Residents said that AMC authorities should show some sensitivity in saving beautiful structures.
