Greasy Pole Competition in China

A hilarious video has emerged from China showing scores of male contestants falling off a greasy pole at an event in Fujian Province.
In the footage a man can be seen applying butter to a long log while the plucky competitors queue up to try their luck at walking the length of it.
Predictably, the majority of them fall into the water below to the delight of the assembled crowds.
The light-hearted contest was held on Saturday ahead of the upcoming Duanwu Festival.
