Lawyer: Political parties not immune under Sedition Act

At an International Law Conference yesterday lawyer Tommy Thomas said that the current use of the sedition act against various people for criticizing political parties was inappropriate as the Act did not stipulate that political parties should be immune from criticism.

Marina Mahathir , who was also one of the panelists also wondered why no action was taken against Perkasa despite the sedition blitz taken on others.
