Palestine: West Bank Soccer Team Participates in Gaza Match

Despite continued delays and obstacles by Israeli authorities, a soccer team from the occupied West Bank has finally been able to participate in a match in the Gaza Strip. The historic game came after a 15-year wait and was seen as expressing the unity of the Palestinian people. The game ended in a draw and the teams will compete again for the Palestine Cup on Sunday in the West Bank city of Hebron, with the winners playing in the next Asian Football Confederation Cup.
