The red band trailer for Deadpool will premiere on Conan Tuesday night, but you knew they couldn’t release a trailer without making fun of all the “teaser for a trailer” videos that tent pole movies get these days, so here’s five-time Academy Award viewer Ryan Reynolds doing his best gravelly movie trailer voice to tell us about things that will happen “in a world” being brought to us “from the studio that inexplicably sewed his f*cking mouth shut the first time.”
Just to make it extra post-modern, the official Twitter account for the movie — which only follows Hello Kitty, naturally — tweeted: “Deadpool did a trailer to a trailer. What a post-modern asshole.”
