Africa's trial: Former Chadian strongman Hissène Habré in the dock (part 1)

A quarter-century after being ousted, Hissène Habré is in the dock charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity. Chad's former strongman had to be forced to attend the opening day of his trial in Senegal. Up until now, such cases had been referred to The Netherlands-based International Criminal Court, accused by some of racism for seemingly only trying Africans. Can the new court in Dakar change all that? What impact will it have on sitting heads of state elsewhere?
