Govt to handover school to private trust for failing to achieve more than 30% secondary results- Tv9

Veraval: Unable to keep up the merit in its school, the Gujarat government is planning to hand over Sheth M.P. Girls High School to a private trust. It is the only government school among Patan and Somnath. Privatization of the school has brought disappointment for parents of 950 girls studying in the school. The school recorded 10.14% and 31.82% in Class X and Class XII respectively. There is a constant decline in the numbers of students in the school. The school has shortage of staff. The reason for giving these schools to a private trust is to improve quality of education while parents think that students will leave studies due to higher fees.
