It’s pretty often that we bump into the famous statement „Less is more” – and when Cosmin Hosz and Dorin Marcu wildly shout „We come alive” everything gets underlined with two intruments, two different musical backrounds, two completely different musical aproaches – all crafted intro one single sound – SATELLITES ! The duo stats as a project in the midst of 2012 going for an „out of the box” set in terms of sound and stage arrangement. One guitar and one drum kit bring out a noisy pop sound with melodic parts that climax into upbeat distorted segments – everything wraped up by the two founding member’s energic vocals. Moving on with the same lane of approach the band’s first live effort takes place – a spontaneous live gig held in the form of a „flash-mob” where acquaintance is made with the general public. The official introduction of the band takes place with the release party of the band’s debut EP „Bastion” on may 17th. The upcomming summer grants the band access to important festivals such as Electric Castle, Colours of Cluj, Peninsula and other individual shows around the country. The year 2014 starts off with a sneak-peak preview towards a new album and a new polished sound with a live studio feed of the song „Where i Belong”, followed by a series of shows around the country. With the same spirit and aproach the first official video „Tonight We Are Young”, released on may 19th, is the first single that makes way to a new album the band is working on with an early fall release.
