Germany Pushing for Grexit: Ruptly
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble has called for a 5-year exit from the Eurozone for Greece if the country doesn’t improve its proposals in talks at Brussels on Sunday. After Greek voters rejected austerity measures in a referendum last week, Greek lawmakers voted to back Prime Minister Alexis Tsipris’ new plan, which stipulates economic reforms in exchange for a new 3-year $60 billion loan package. The measures include the privatization of airports and seaports, cutting military spending and raising corporate taxes.
