A federal judge has upheld the US Patent and Trademark Office’s 2014 decision to cancel the Washington Redskins’ trademark.

A federal judge has upheld the US Patent and Trademark Office’s 2014 decision to cancel six Washington Redskins trademarks. 
The office originally revoked them because they were deemed to be disparaging to the Native American community and thus do not qualify for federal trademark status.
