Mexican Army Ordered to Kill Suspected Criminals in Massacre

The Mexican army ordered its soldiers to kill suspected criminals in a massacre last year in the village of Tlatlaya, State of Mexico, according to an investigation by a human rights organization. The soldiers executed 15 people, including a 15 year old girl, who had already surrendered and who were believed to be gang members. The massacre and attempts by authorities to cover it up, have shed light on human rights abuses by an already discredited army in its war on drugs. teleSUR
