4000 Turtles Were Rescued From The Illegal Pet Trade

4000 forest turtles, which are a critically endangered species, were rescued from being smuggled to China. They were being kept in a warehouse, inside crates. Although many died, others are now being nursed to health before they can be released back into their habitat.
