This video lecture from Reaction Kinetics (F.Sc. first year Chemistry) covers the instantaneous and average rates of reactions. Average rate is defined between two time intervals and is not a unique value for a certain time but instantaneous rate is defined at a particular instant by taking the gradient or slope of the tangent line drawn at that instant on concentration-time graph.
