Brothers Dress Up And Run To Raise Awareness For Wounded Warriors

Their love for running and rock n’ roll makes a difference. It’s National Running Day! What better way to celebrate than to lace up your sneakers a run for a good cause! That’s just what brothers John and Jamie Downs did when they decided to transform their obsession for the rock and roll heroes of the band KISS, into a grass roots effort to raise awareness for the American heroes supported by the non profit organization, the Wounded Warrior Project.

Armed with an American flag and dressed like their favorite rock and roll icons, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, John and Jamie participate in marathons to give back to the men and women who have been injured while protecting our freedom.
