PUNE: Gangster and alleged sand mafia operative Appa alias Prakash Haribhau Londhe (52) was brutally assaulted and shot dead a few meters away from his house in Uruli Kanchan on early morning when he was out for a morning walk.. Londhe's blood-soaked body was found in a channel along the Shindwane Road.. Police found 5 bullets lodged in his body besides major injuries all over..
