Police beats family during patrolling, two women injured, two held - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: Four including two women were beaten up by Police during patrolling. Cops asked man to show licence, but as he did not have, police asked to give Rs.1,000 and for failing to give money, officers started beating us, said two injured women. On the other side, police has scrapped the allegations saying the family was found suspicious and therefore they stopped them but they tried to flee. The incident took place at Vijay Cross Roads during wee hours. Police has arrested two in the case and has started investigation on the basis of CCTV footage.
