Killer of gay victim found through selfies taken using stolen cellphone

Norlan Mercardo, more fondly called “Cielo”, was found dead inside his apartment in Brgy. 177, Caloocan City. Based on initial investigation, robbery was the motive behind the crime. Days later, through selfies taken using the victim’s stolen phone, the authorities were able to trace the killer.
